Jeri Knowlton is the WV Content Marketing Queen (LLC) that specializes in helping businesses grow through strategic marketing initiatives, authentic content, and data-supported tactics that solve problems for the client.
Knowlton started her content marketing company in July 2022 so she could assist with the oftentimes daunting task of telling their story. The integrated strategy complements the story to build affinity and connection and bring the business growth to reach, engagement, following, click-throughs, and bottom lines.
Knowlton’s clients reflect her career that ranges from nonprofits to for-profits, quasi-governmental to small business start-ups, and everything in between higher education and destination/attractions.
With a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Concord University (along with minors in public relations and advertising), Knowlton possesses strong business acumen and a dash of common sense when connecting clients with opportunities to move their businesses forward.
Knowlton also holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certification and teaches mindfulness and yoga at the Raleigh County Commission and Aging and as a community captain for Active Southern West Virginia.
She belongs to the Beckley Rotary Club and believes that Service Above Self and having skin in the game in your community are keys to any successful business.
During her career, she has been recognized with numerous awards for campaigns, advertisements, publications and community service, in every sector she’s worked in. She also holds three awards from the WV Press Association for pieces she wrote as a journalist for the Register-Herald.
Knowlton and her family live in the Beckley area of Southern West Virginia.
