Shadia Sadaqa

For over 15 years, Shadia Sadaqa has developed and led communication strategies, digital innovation campaigns, content development and educational projects in Brussels, Chicago, Doha, Dubai, Graz, Houston, London, Rome, Johannesburg and Washington D.C. with the United States Senate, the White House, the European Commission, the United Nations, Conde Nast, National Geographic, IBM, TED, BBC, SXSW, LEGO, DARPA and a NASA initiative.

Sadaqa has had the privilege to work and connect with stakeholders around the world. This has offered her the opportunity to gain a global perspective and acquire a wealth of knowledge and skills. Industries include aerospace, education, finance, government, healthcare, media and non-profit organizations. As a result, she has developed the ability to foster ideas and robust solutions, build partnerships, identify challenges and evaluate both risks and opportunities to improve social, educational, digital innovation and environmental concerns.

Global communication campaigns Sadaqa has worked on include the following: National Geographic, IBM, Vanity Fair, Google Doodle International Women’s Day, LEGO Ideas, Global Climate Action Summit 2018, Facebook, Ogilvy and UN COP24 Katowice.

Throughout her career, she has managed media relations, developed press kits, directed public relations, and engagement activities for the Cannes Lion Festival in France as well as presented concept development and production for IBM’s Vanity Fair Hidden Figures campaign.

Sadaqa has a genuine passion for communications, technology, campaign development, public relations, digital communications strategies and making a positive impact. She enjoys working with teams to create meaningful insights and explore robust solutions to social, educational, emerging technology and environmental concerns.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wesley College, an MBA from St. John’s University, and a Master of Arts in International Public Affairs from The Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali in Rome, Italy.

Sadaqa is from Chicago, IL and lives in Houston, TX.
