Amanda Tuscan is excited to serve as an academic advisor for the online graduate students in the WVU Reed College of Media. She joined the college in July 2021.

Before coming to WVU, she worked as an academic success coordinator at Fairmont State University College of Business & Aviation, primarily working with new and transfer students. While at Fairmont, Tuscan earned Adjunct Professor of the Year award in 2017 and 2018. She also has academic advising experience from the Art Institute (Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, and Pittsburgh campuses), as well as Argosy University Online.

Tuscan is a proud Pennsylvanian, growing up in Warren and Pittsburgh. In 2004 she graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism then earned her Master of Business Administration in 2020 from Fairmont State University.

In her free time, she loves to cheer on the Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh sports teams, travel, go to concerts, read, and go on new adventures.
