David Crawford joined the Media Innovation Center (MIC) at the WVU Reed College of Media in April 2016. He serves as the Multimedia Specialist, responsible for creating multimedia projects for the Center’s marketing and communications as well as supporting the MIC technology. He also identifies and implements emerging technology in support of programming and curriculum.
Before joining the MIC, Crawford worked for Information Technology Services at the WVU Health Sciences Center, where he produced and directed marketing and educational videos. He also worked for West Virginia Public Broadcasting on television programs including long and short form documentaries, news and public affairs; studio shows and multi-camera live broadcasts. His freelance camera and audio credits include CNN, NBC, Fox, Channel One, ESPN, Warner Brothers and Disney. He received his Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Production from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
