Excellent internship opportunities with the Academy of TV Arts and Sciences

Following is a note from the Director of Student Careers and Opportunities Eric Minor:

Thanks for asking for more information about the EMMYs internship.

It sounds incredible and I’d love to help you to apply for it.

The way it works is that you apply to the EMMYs’ Educational Programs Department and then they place you with a company (such as NBC Publicity , HBO or an LA local TV station). I’d advise you to spend as much time as you can reviewing their website at http://www.emmysfoundation.org/internship-programs

As you can see, there are opportunities applicable to all majors at the SOJ:

Agency
Non-traditional animation
Art Direction
Casting
Commercials
Costume Design
Digital Entertainment
Documentary/Nonfiction Production
Editing
Entertainment News
Legal and Business Affairs
Lighting Design
Live Event Production
Movies for Television
Post Production
