Hewitt Associates is looking for a Web content analyst.

The Content Analyst is responsible for managing the delivery of content for Hewitt’s Multi-Process HR Outsourcing clients, creating content per client-specific requirements, and ensuring that Hewitt’s base content strategy is applied consistently for each client. This role supports Hewitt’s larger customer experience efforts and interacts with associates in content delivery, customer experience, and technical roles and with clients. The Content Analyst requires little supervision and is responsible for the on-target, on-time delivery of multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Domain, Product and/or Service Knowledge

  • During client implementation phase, review client business requirements with Customer Experience (CE) Consultant for content configuration points and customizations
  • Work with other Content Analysts to configure base content and develop custom content per business requirements
  • Identify role and population access requirements for content and work with System Analyst(s) and Developer(s) to ensure that requirements are implemented
  • Manage internal and client reviews of content drafts
  • Participate in analysis of client-requested changes to determine impact on content and determine scope of customization requests, work with internal client team members to get client approval of project costs, and submit change requests for approved content changes
  • Represent the end-user perspective and raise usability issues during content customization discussions
  • Assist in writing test plans for content, coordinate CE team’s sweep testing of content, and respond to issues identified during system testing
  • Consult with internal team members and clients on content management strategy and information architecture for client-authored information content, as needed
  • Support implementation of, and educate internal and/or client user group(s) about, Hewitt’s content management tools

Project Management

  • When support for client-authored informational content (HR policies, program descriptions, etc.) is in scope, develop and manage project plan for content implementation, coordinate transfer of all in-scope content from client to Hewitt, and enter files into Hewitt’s content management system

Operations Management

  • After initial implementation is complete, work with the client and client team on making necessary updates to the content

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years professional writing experience, with at least 1 year of experience writing for the Web
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or a related field
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Basic understanding of and ability to use HTML
  • Ability to deliver accurate and effective content in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work on multiple assignments at once and adapt to changing business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • A commitment to quality, customer service, and teamwork

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Client consulting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HR subject matter
  • Experience with Interwoven TeamSite content management tools
