National AP correspondent to speak at SOJ Feb. 17

Vicki Smith, a national correspondent for the Associated Press, will speak to students in place of Andy Kniceley tonight from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in Room 205, Martin Hall. All students and classes are welcome. Among other things, Vicki will talk about new trends in journalism and take questions. Vicki has covered almost all of the major national AP stories in recent years including Hurricane Katrina and the Virginia Tech shootings. This is also a great opportunity to network with her.
