Amizade Global Service-Learning seeks graduate or highly advanced undergraduate interns for the 2010-11 academic year in Pittsburgh and Morgantown. Interns working with Amizade have the opportunity to serve with a growing global social enterprise nonprofit organization. Amizade has a sixteen year history of connecting people across cultures through service as part of its long-standing mission to empower individuals and communities through service and learning.
Working with Amizade means advancing human rights, supporting access to water, helping Bolivian communities gain school buildings – and it means real responsibilities and real challenges. Interns may qualify for Amizade program travel stipends. For more information and to apply, please visit: http://www.amizade.org/
The deadline for application is April 1.
