The WVU Children’s Hospital Development Office seeks an energetic and creative self-starter to serve as a Student Intern for the 2011-2012 academic year. The WVU Children’s Hospital Development office is a fundraising team that financially supports the not-for-profit. WVUChildren’s Hospital: services, care, programs, research, and more.
Job Description:
• Assists in preparing text and design for newsletters, invitations, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
• Prepares mass mailings
• Performs administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
• Position is part-time (10 hours per week) and is unpaid
Qualifications:
• Posses outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent organizational skills with ability to keep track of simultaneous projects
• Must have an ability to work with the public in a courteous and positive manner
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
• Exhibits discretion and confidentiality for donor records and information.
The WVU Children’s Hospital Development Office in NOT located at the Ruby Memorial Hospital/Health Sciences Center complex. All candidates must have reliable transportation.
