Title: Print layout/press release writing intern
Department: Marketing
Pay: $10 per hour
Reports to: Christie Zachary
Job Summary:
Print layout and design and some press release writing. The intern will be working on a print and layout project for the College of Human Resources and Education. All departments and programs are in need of either an updated brochure/brochures or a new creation. The intern will also be responsible for collecting information and writing basic press releases, or media advisories, announcing college events; awards; or contributing to feature stories or booklets.
Minimum Requirements:
The intern must be able to work 10 hours per week with the chance of more than 20 hours per week in the spring semester. The Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, and Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Powerpoint). He or she must also be comfortable communicating with faculty and staff, as well as, be proficient with AP Style writing and editing.
