IRTS summer fellowship program

2013 IRTS SUMMER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Date: June 2 – August 3, 2013
Where: New York City

The IRTS Summer Fellowship Program teaches up-and-coming communicators the realities of the media industry and business world through a nine-week, expense-paid fellowship, which includes practical experience and career-planning advice.

Students selected for this highly competitive program learn about opportunities throughout the industry, in addition to interning at a specific company in NYC where skills are matched to a corresponding area of our business. The Fellowship also provides the opportunity to network with industry professionals, take related field trips and attend panels, lectures and group discussions.

Previous internship placements have included: AMC Networks, CBS Corporation, Clear Channel Communications, Discovery Communications, Disney I ABC Television Group, Fox Networks Group, Grey Group, NBCUniversal, Nielsen, Scripps Networks Interactive, Time Warner Cable, Turner Broadcasting, Viacom and others.

ELIGIBILITY
The Summer Fellowship Program is competitive. Students must be college juniors, seniors or graduate students at the time of application. Applicants must be full-time students who will not graduate prior to May 1, 2013.

This diversity initiative is designed to give graduating seniors a jumpstart on the management track by providing customized sales training, in addition to the regular features of the Fellowship Program.
