Direct2TV.com is offering a $1,000 Media & Technology Blogging scholarship to a current or incoming undergraduate or graduate student
who writes and publishes a blog post describing his or her interaction with technology and how technology functions as part society in general. Recipient must be enrolled at an accredited college or university.
Applicants must publish a 300-1,000 word post on a blog, then submit their post for consideration to http://www.direct2tv.com/directv-scholarship.html.
Entries are due no later than 5 p.m. EST on June 1, 2013.
Entries will be judged based on originality, insight, writing quality and overall website authority.
The scholarship funds are provided by DirectStar TV, LLC, which owns and operates direct2tv.com, and will be made payable directly via mail to the accredited college or university designated by the recipient after July 1, 2013.
