Adventure WV is sponsoring a whitewater kayaking trip on Sept. 21 and a four-day fall break program from Oct.12-15, which includes camping, rafting, climbing and zipping.
All programs are free of cost for WVU military veteran students. No previous experience is required to participate.
The West Virginia University P.I. Reed School of Journalism’s online Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) graduate program will host an open house on Sept. 25 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballroom. The open house will feature a one-hour information session from 6 – 7 p.m., followed by a moderated one-hour student and graduate panel from 7 – 8 p.m.
The information session will be led by IMC program administrative team members and will cover program basics from curriculum to course technology to application process.
School of Journalism juniors, seniors and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply for participation in the Professional Mentorship Program for 2013-2014.
The highly competitive program matches outstanding upperclassmen with high-level communications professionals who are eager to provide resume advice, networking opportunities, interview preparation and an insider’s outlook on the current job market.
