WVU College of Education and Human Services seeks intern for print layout and press release writing

Job summary
Press release writing and some print and design. The intern will be working on press releases, news and feature stories and some print/layout projects for the College of Education and Human Services. All departments and programs are in need of news stories and either an updated brochure/brochures or a new creation. The intern will also be responsible for collecting information and writing basic press releases or media advisories announcing college events, awards or contributing to feature stories or booklets. Intern must be able to use a camera to convey the brand and “tell the story” for the college of education and human services.

Minimum requirements
Must be able to work 20 hours per week. Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or In-Design, Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Powerpoint). Must be comfortable communicating with faculty and staff. Must be proficient with AP style writing and editing.
