Intern with the West Virginia Power this summer!

The West Virginia Power, the Class-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates (based in Charleston, WV) will be in Martin Hall on Thursday, February 12 to interview candidates for their summer internships program.

There are internships in the following areas:

  • General : dealing with operations, public relations and sales
  • Food service : dealing with events and concession operations
  • Hospitality : dealing with suite catering at Appalachian Power Park

There is a stipend available for students participating in the food service and hospitality internship. Students in the general internship are eligible to earn college credit.

By reserving a time, you’ll be guaranteed an interview with Jordan Pence, the team’s Client Services and Entertainment Manager. Jordan is a graduate of our PR major.

Interviews will be conducted at:

12:00, 12:20, 12:40, 1:00, 1:20, 1:40, 2:00, 2:20, 2:40, 3:00, 3:20, 3:40, 4:00, 4:20 and 4:40.
