MSJ graduate student Chelsea Betts recently accepted an award for her communications work with the EcoCar 3 team at WVU. The Communications Team, led by Betts, earned first place for Best Sponsor Collaboration video, during the pre-competition deliverable awards ceremony. EcoCAR 3 is the latest U.S. Department of Energy Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition series, challenging 16 North American university teams to redesign a Chevrolet Camaro into a more environmentally friendly hybrid-electric vehicle, while maintaining the muscle and performance expected from this iconic American car. WVU’s team includes more than 30 undergraduate and graduate students from disciplines across campus. Watch the video on YouTube.
