Put your business and marketing skills to the test in the second annual Target Case Study. Teams of 2-4 undergraduate students will work to solve a business problem revealed during the kick-off event. The case study is open to students of all majors. Last year, at the inaugural Target Case Study competition, Reed College of Media seniors Megan Woods and Amber Ravenscroft won $1,250 for their idea to create an augmented reality to allow customers to create a virtual “dream room.” Another team from the College comprised of freshmen Erika Baxa,Melanie Smith and Emma Wess placed third in the competition with their campaign made of display rooms, street team marketing and a new social media plan.The kick-off event is from 6-7 p.m. on January 20 at the Mountainlair’s Shenandoah Room.
