The Media Innovation Center will be hosting an SPJ-Google News Lab Training Session next Friday, September 29, 2017 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and we’d like to invite you to attend!
This is a FREE hands-on training workshop offered by the national SPJ organization in partnership with Google News Lab. The trainings are intended to help journalists (and aspiring journalists!) learn to use Google News Lab tools in their news gathering, reporting and storytelling.
It’s a great opportunity for students and faculty alike to gain very relevant skills within a day’s time.
During our training, Mike Reilley, our experienced SPJ-Google News Lab trainer, will provide an overview of useful Google tools such as Google Fusion Tables, MyMaps, Google Earth Pro, Google Trends and Google Reverse Image Search.
Space is limited, so we encourage everyone to register soon! You can find additional information about the training and RSVP to attend here.
