The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) is the world’s largest professional organization exclusively serving the electronic news profession including industry professionals, journalism educators, and students. RTDNA is dedicated to encouraging and supporting excellence in the field of electronic journalism.

The WVU Student Chapter of RTDNA engages media students in learning about media professions that emphasize video, audio and digital storytelling. Professional speakers visit WVU to talk to members about what it takes to be successful in the industry. The organization plans trips to regional and national media outlets where students learn what it takes to make it in the world of electronic journalism. National conferences each year offer networking and professional development opportunities.

Local and/or national membership is open to anyone interested in any aspect of online journalism, in front of or behind the camera, as well as anyone interested in learning more about this ever changing field.
