Nicole Beason is associate director of research infrastructure for the WVU Health Sciences Office of Research and Graduate Education. In this role, she designs, implements, and optimizes multi-channel programs for building brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy.
Before joining the Office of Research and Graduate Education, Beason served as the Marketing Manager for the WVU Reed College of Media’s online programs. She led the strategic marketing efforts for the online programs as well as planned and executed the INTEGRATE conference – a conference for integrated marketing communications professionals in Morgantown, DC, and Chicago. Beason has worked as an adjunct instructor with the WVU Reed College of Media since 2015. She holds an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications (2017), an M.A. in Elementary Education (2010) and a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies (2007), all from West Virginia University.
Beason is an active member of the University Chapter of the WVU Alumni Association. She volunteers her time tutoring elementary and middle school students during the school year. Beason also serves as a planning committee member for the Lungevity Foundation Breathe Deep Walk in Morgantown, WV to raise money for lung cancer research.
