Nicole Beason is associate director of research infrastructure for the WVU Health Sciences Office of Research and Graduate Education. In this role, she designs, implements, and optimizes multi-channel programs to build brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy.
Before joining the Office of Research and Graduate Education, Beason served as the Marketing Manager for the WVU Reed College of Media’s online programs. She led the strategic marketing efforts for the online programs as well as planned and executed the INTEGRATE conference – a conference for integrated marketing communications professionals in Morgantown, DC, and Chicago. Beason has worked as an adjunct instructor with the WVU Reed College of Media since 2015. She holds an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications (2017), an M.A. in Elementary Education (2010) and a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies (2007), all from West Virginia University.
Beason is the Vice President of the University Chapter of the WVU Alumni Association. She is also a member of the Association of National Advertisers and the Association of Women in Communications. She volunteers her time working with non-profit organizations such as the Bodice Project and the Lungevity Foundation.
