Catherine A. Lada is currently an executive consultant with Catherine A. Lada & Associates. She helps her clients achieve triple- and quadruple bottom-line results. In addition to teaching at WVU, Dr. Lada is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Pittsburgh and Robert Morris University (RMU). She teaches in the AACSB-accredited business schools for both universities, as well as the School of Information and Communications Systems at RMU.
Professor Lada, who resides in Pittsburgh, Pa., completed her Doctor of Science degree at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh in May, 2015. She attended Central Michigan University for her Master of Science degree in Administration, and attended the University of Detroit Mercy for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Dr. Lada was an Insignis Scholar at the University of Detroit and received the prestigious Economics award upon graduation.
Dr. Lada has more than a decade of experience in communications and marketing, in the nonprofit and private sectors. Her accomplishments include helping lead double-digit growth as a marketing and business development specialist for a multi-million-dollar business unit and launching two successful national branding campaigns.
She has received two prestigious recognitions for her volunteer work, life membership in both the Virginia Jaycees and the Alexandria Jaycees. She serves on the boards of directors for the social enterprise incubator New Sun Rising, the Massey Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at RMU, and the Oasis Project, a group of social enterprises in Pittsburgh.
