WVU will pay tribute to coal miners Tuesday, Dec. 1. “The Monongah Heroine,” a documentary by SOJ Teaching Assistant Professor Gina Martino Dahlia, will highlight tonight’s program in the Mountainlair Blue Ballroom. Dahlia’s documentary focuses on the widow’s left behind from the Dec. 6, 1907 Monongah, W.Va. mine disaster.
