Interested in magazines? Attend an Ed on Campus meeting.

Ed on Campus is the collegiate off-shoot of Ed2010, a community of young magazine editors and magazine-editor wannabes who want to learn more about the industry so they can fulfill dreams of landing top editing and writing positions in the magazine industry. Ed on Campus is intended to demystify the industry to college students and help them score internships—especially during the summer—at great magazines in New York City and across the country.

WVU Ed on Campus meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with their next meeting being Feb. 26, 2013 in Martin Hall. WVU Ed on Campus is open to majors of any college and grade level. They work on a point-based system with one meeting or event = one point. When a restricted event or trip comes up, they take those with the highest amount of points. Their previous members have received high-ranking jobs with Parents Magazine, The Huffington Post, and American Baby.
Please contact their treasurer, Ashlie Walter, at awalter6@mix.wvu.edu with any questions or concerns.
