“Journalism Week 2010: Where the Jobs Are in the Changing Media Industry” is set for Sunday, March 21, through Thursday, March 25. This year’s series of events focuses on an issue of immediate concern to our students – where the jobs are in the changing media industry and how you can best position yourselves as digital journalists and communicators.
The week kicks off with a panel of current students and recent graduates discussing their experiences in today’s job market and features prominent journalists and strategic communicators, including keynote speaker John Harris, editor-in-chief of The Politico and Politico.com.
The complete schedule of events and speaker bios are available at http://journalism.wvu.edu/jweek2010 . All events will be webcast live on this site.
Also, join other SOJ students tweeting about the events at #jweek!
