SOJ majors who wish to minor in sport communication must complete 9 credits from the School of Journalism:
—ADV 201, ADV 215 or PR 215
—JRL 361 (Media relations in sport)
—PR 410 (IMC for public relations)
And 12 credits from the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences:
—SEP 271 (Sport in society)
—SM 426 (Sport law)
—SM 485 (Sport management)
—SM 486 (Sport marketing)
