Attention December Graduates:
If you have applied for December graduation, the SOJ has mailed a letter about upcoming December Convocation events to your local and permanent addresses.
On Sunday, Dec. 12, the SOJ will host an “open house” for December graduates. (Please note: we will not be holding a separate cap-and-gown ceremony.)
At 9 am, the SOJ will host a December Honors Ceremony for students graduating with top academic honors. Invitations have been sent to these students. Please RSVP as soon as possible.
At 10 am, the SOJ will host its December Graduate Open House. All December graduates and their families are invited to Martin Hall for light breakfast fare. Guests will have a chance to meet faculty and tour the building.
All graduates are then encouraged to attend the WVU December Convocation ceremony at 1:30 pm at the WVU Coliseum. This event is hosted by the University and includes graduates from all programs at WVU. Graduates will don academic regalia, walk across the stage as their names are read, shake the hands of WVU’s president and other members of the platform party, and receive a letter of congratulations during the ceremony. Graduates must register for this event.
