Judi Tarowsky’s father, Bayard Young, was a WVU journalism student in the 1930s who interviewed and photographed Eleanor Roosevelt during a visit to Arthurdale, W.Va.
At Arthurdale Heritage on Saturday, May 7th at 2pm, Ms. Tarowsky will present the pictures he took that day which have not been seen locally since the 1930s.
She will also talk about the newspaper articles he wrote and give his impressions of Mrs. Roosevelt.
The event is free and open to the public.
Arthurdale Heritage is located 15 miles southeast of Morgantown off of Rt. 92.
