Position details:
The Appalachian Hardwood Center at the West Virginia University Division of Forestry is looking to hire two students this summer, with the possibility of continuing into the fall and spring semesters. The pay is $8.50 per hour, approximately 20 hours per week, for 10-12 weeks. The ideal candidate could start around May 15th, but that is semi flexible.
Tasks will include:
- setting up events for program awareness/recruiting efforts
- coming up with ideas for creating awareness about the program
- creating fliers for events, presentations, etc.
- e-mailing/calling perspective students
- presentations/co-presentations to students about the program
