The SOJ’s chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) was honored this month as WVU Student Organization of the Year. Focusing on their professional development, fundraising and community service efforts, the group presented at an April Student Government Association meeting as one of three student organization finalists. Following the presentations, PRSSA was announced the winner of the inaugural award by SGA President-elect Jason Bailey. Bailey created the award to honor the student organization which has best served the University throughout the academic year. PRSSA will receive a $250 grant and its name on a plaque.
