The Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University journalism internship

This year marks the Institute for Humane Studies 50th anniversary of helping students and academics interested in individual liberty pursue their intellectual and career goals.

The internship programs in policy and journalism at The Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University offer real-world experiences that can help students land jobs after graduation. They offer a range of placements across the United States and students may also request funding for internships secured on their own. The Institute for Humane Studies offers two internships:

The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program is comprised of paid public policy internships at over 50 think tanks and policy organizations across the United States. This is a ten-week, summer program.

The Journalism Internship Program features paid placements at newspapers, major media networks, online news sites, and investigative, nonprofit newsrooms. This internship is offered in the spring, summer and fall.
