The Virginian-Pilot, a daily newspaper serving Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, has an opening for a copy/agate editor for its sports desk. They need someone with strong word skills who has an interest in sports.
The successful candidate will edit and design our agate pages five nights a week, in addition to editing both sports and news section stories. He/she also must be able to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines, show strong organizational skills and be able to thrive in a team environment.
