Roanoke Times seeks interns -- Deadline Dec. 1!

The Roanoke Times offers a collegial newsroom that has become a national leader in integrating online reporting and print journalism. Every intern reports to a senior editor who assigns and edits stories, approves publication and provides advice and guidance during the summer. Interns will receive training throughout their internship.

The basics

  • Internships are paid.
  • Internships run for 10 weeks, from late May to August.
  • Current students and recent graduates are eligible. Preference is given to students who have had previous internships and/or have worked for campus publications.
