Spring 2013 advertising internships with RTC Agency in NY and DC

RTC Agency is hiring interns for its Washington, D.C., and New York offices for spring 2013.

Washington, D.C. Advertising Internship Description

RTC’s Internship Program is designed to provide college students an opportunity to complement their formal education with career-related experience. Each intern will collaborate with an assigned supervisor/department leader to develop projects or work on assignments devised to make the focus of the internship specific to the students’ interests or learning objectives in relation to direct marketing.

Our program is unpaid but in return students receive hands-on agency experience, working on Fortune 500 accounts as well as access to agency resources such as in-house trainings, events, etc.

Program Length: Interns must be willing to commit to an 12-16 week program. We’re located in Georgetown & our hours are M-F, 9am-5:30pm (flexible work schedule may be arranged).

Internships are available in the following departments: Account Management, Business Development, Creative (Art Director/Copywriter/Designer/User Experience Designer), Digital Strategy, Marketing Analytics/Intelligence, Project Management, and Strategy & Insights.

Minimum Experience & Other Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, ideally in an advertising/marketing/design-related program
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (PC or Mac platform)
  • Outstanding oral & written communication skills, presentation skills a plus
  • Superior attention to detail; strong organizational/planning/program/project management skills
  • Positive, proactive & energetic attitude, strong work ethic & highly dependable
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism

New York Advertising Internship Description

Each intern will collaborate with an assigned supervisor/department leader to develop projects or work on assignments devised to make the focus of the internship specific to the students’ interests or learning objectives in relation to direct marketing.

Our program is unpaid but in return students receive hands-on agency experience, working on Fortune 500 accounts as well as access to agency resources such as in-house trainings, events, etc.

Program Length: Interns must be willing to commit to an 12-16 week program. We’re located on Madison Avenue & our hours are M-F, 9am-5:30pm (flexible work schedule may be arranged).

Internships are available in our Insights & Innovation group with our Experience Strategists.
