VITAC in Canonsburg, Pa., seeks production coordinator

Our production coordinators are responsible for research, script preparation, setup, and on-air continuity of closed captioning for more than 220,000 hours of programming per year for CNN, HLN, MSNBC, CNBC, NHK, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The CBS Early Show, the Weather Channel, about 20 national and regional sports networks, and many others.

Excellent grammar and proofreading skills. Moderate typing ability (35 wpm). Knowledge of PC necessary, and experience with video equipment is helpful, but not required.

Ability to work independently and effectively under strict deadlines, but also to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
Willingness to work early morning, late evening, occasional weekends and holidays.
College degree and/or relevant experience in English, Journalism, Communications, or related degree.

Must successfully pass VITAC proficiency tests.
