Accepting applications for Professional Mentorship Program

School of Journalism juniors, seniors and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply for participation in the Professional Mentorship Program for 2013-2014.

The highly competitive program matches outstanding upperclassmen with high-level communications professionals who are eager to provide resume advice, networking opportunities, interview preparation and an insider’s outlook on the current job market.

Applications are available at the Office of Student Careers and Opportunities (104B Martin Hall) or can be downloaded from the SOJ Internship Connection blog at http://sojinternshipconnection.wvu.edu/.

Applications must be submitted to the Office of Student Careers and Opportunities no later than noon on September 16th, 2013.

If you are selected for the program, please note the following mandatory meeting dates:

September 27—1-2 pm Mentee Kickoff Meeting 101-102 Martin Hall
October 3—5-6 pm Mentor-Mentee Mixer Waterfront Place Hotel
October 3—6:30 pm Recognition Dinner Waterfront Place Hotel
