Martin-Hall Agency adds professional racecar driver as client

Earlier this month, the student-run IMC agency, Martin-Hall Agency, signed a contract with Travis Braden, a WVU mechanical engineering student and professional racecar driver.

The Wheeling, W.Va., native was just eight years old when he first wanted to race a small ATV at a local county fair. In 2011, he was named NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model National Rookie of Year.

In April 2013, Braden entered a partnership with WVU, and his No. 1 racecar carried the WVU logo and the “old gold and blue” colors. The new color scheme was revealed for the first time in The Border Wars 7-Up 150 at Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio.

Martin-Hall Agency aims to help Braden build a niche segment within the West Virginia University brand.

Martin-Hall Agency (MHA) is the student-led, student-run integrated marketing communications agency at the P.I. Reed School of Journalism. MHA takes on real clients to carry out real work. Their mission is the develop Braden’s brand image through public relations opportunities, licensing rights, social media marketing and website placement.
