Alumna's Charleston, WV, firm joins Asher Agency

The Arnold Agency, an integrated marketing firm with offices in West Virginia, Montana and Washington, D.C. —founded by SOJ alumna Linda Arnold (BSJ, 1976)—has officially joined Asher Agency. Asher Agency is a 40-year old advertising, marketing and public relations agency with a staff of over 60 employees operating offices in five states.

The Arnold Agency is being rebranded as the West Virginia office of the Asher Agency and will join other marketing and media firms under the umbrella of Eastport Holdings. In a move Linda Arnold refers to as a “good cultural fit,” the Asher Agency will do business in 25 states.

Linda Arnold will be available as a consultant to the new company while she continues to expand the distribution of her syndicated newspaper column, “Live Life Fully.” “Following 25 years with The Arnold Agency, I’m happy to have the legacy continue under this new structure,” said Arnold. “It gives me the opportunity to pursue my passion with my writing, and I’m thrilled to realize the dream of recently having my column become syndicated on a national basis.”

Two other SOJ alumni are continuing their work with the new agency. Mike Fulton (BSJ, 1979) is heading up the Asher Agency’s Washington, D.C., office. Steve Morrison (BSJ, 1973), who has been a partner with The Arnold Agency for the past 24 years, is assuming the reins as vice president and general manger of the Asher Agency’s West Virginia office.
