Wireless Internet service will be available free of charge to visitors on the Morgantown campus and the Potomac State College campus in Keyser by Aug.1, eliminating both cost and the need to seek specific passwords from a sponsor.
Information Technology Services is currently rolling out this change to all academic and office buildings, and to the lobbies of residence halls. Steve Belcher, assistant director of networking, said the work should be completed by the end of July.
“WVU.Guest” will automatically appear when users refresh their list of available network, and users will be prompted to complete a brief registration form.
