Evolution of Design features fashion designers, bloggers and photojournalists

Are you a student journalist or photographer interested in all things fashion? If so, join us as we promote Evolution of Design at West Virginia University. The inaugural event, hosted by the College of Human Services and Education and the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, will bring together emergent designers in fashion, artistry, marketing, and history to produce a fashion show with enough glitz and glamor to rival those found in Hollywood.

On the day of the event, student journalists will share details in real time via the event’s blog and social media pages. Student photographers will have the opportunity to follow one or more of the event’s emergent designers and capture images that tell the story of the creative process. The photographers and images will be featured on the event’s blog and social media pages prior to the event and as part of the fashion show. Student photographers will also capture runway images during the fashion show to be posted on the event website in the days following the event.
