CBS Correspondent Byron Pitts to visit SOJ and WVU

This Thursday (Feb. 4) Byron Pitts, chief national correspondent for “The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” will visit WVU and the School of Journalism as part of WVU’s Festival of Ideas speaker series. Pitts will speak to Prof. Arthur’s TVJ 386 class at 1 pm in Martin Hall. His public presentation, “Step Out on Nothing: An Evening with Byron Pitts,” will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The event is co-sponsored by the P.I. Reed School of Journalism’s Gruine Robinson Speaker Series and WVU’s Center for Black Culture and Research.
