The Dow Jones News Fund has extended the application deadline to Nov. 8 for juniors, seniors and graduate students who wish to apply for its paid 2011 summer reporting and editing internship programs.
DJNF offers business reporting, sports, news and multimedia editing internships at newspapers, wire services and websites. Additionally, applicants have until Nov. 8 to take the editing exam. Business reporting tests must be postmarked by Dec. 1.
Students apply online by going to the Programs page of the Fund’s website at https://www.newsfund.org and clicking on the links for the editing and business reporting applications.
Test monitors who would like more editing exams may request a PDF by sending an email message to diane.cohn@dowjones.com with “editing test” in the subject line.
Up to 80 interns will be selected. Applicants will be notified of their status in December.
