Martin-Hall Agency creates opportunity for students to "Power Up Their Professional Network"--Nov. 16

Tom MarcheseThe Martin-Hall Agency will host Tom Marchese, the Vice President of Marketing for Bob Evans, on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Marchese’s presentation, “Breakthrough Thinking,” will begin at 6:30 P.M. in room 205 Martin Hall.

Since taking the Vice President position in 2008, Marchese has been responsible for the marketing of 570 Bob Evans Restaurants. His goal has been to gear Bob Evans toward reaching a younger family audience. His specialties include advertising, digital communication, brand positioning, and strategy. Marchese has an extensive background in the marketing & communication field, having been the Chief Marketing Officer at Yum Brands, Vice President of Innovation at Elmer’s Products, and the Director of Brand Marketing for Wendy’s International to name just a few. He has spoken at other events, such as the Professional Speakers Series, and has a wealth of advice about what it is like in the real world.

“This event is an excellent opportunity for our Advertising students to make professional connections and learn about career opportunities in their chosen field,” said Dean Maryanne Reed.

The event will cost $5 at the door and proceeds will go to support The Martin-Hall Agency. A reception will follow the presentation in room 101 Martin Hall at 7:30 P.M. Refreshments will be provided.

This will be the first in a series of guest networking events sponsored by the Martin-Hall Agency entitled “Power Up Your Professional Network.”
