WVU PRSSA needs your help this holiday season

This year, WVU PRSSA is giving back to the Monongalia County Community in a few ways, and we’re asking for your help!

Book Fair
Thinking of buying some books as gifts this holiday? Barnes & Noble at the University Town Center is holding a book fair on Saturday, December 10, to benefit Morgantown Early Learning Facility (ELF). This book drive gives you multiple opportunities to donate!

  • From 9-5, for every customer who mentions Morgantown ELF at the register, a portion of their proceeds will be given to ELF. You must mention ELF in order for the sale to benefit the organization! The more you buy, the more money goes to ELF!
  • Customers may also purchase books to be given as a donation to ELF.
  • From 10-2, customers may take part in several activities taking place in-store including gift wrapping, story time and crafts.

Holiday Glove Drive
WVU PRSSA is partnering with Morgantown (ELF) to give the gift of warmth this holiday season. Gloves will be donated to the Infant and Toddler Program of Monongalia County and the Evergreen Assisted Living Facility. Donations can be left in the box outside of the SOJmain office now through December 16.

Toy Mountain
We are collecting new toys of all kinds (non-violence related please!) for SOS’s annual Toy Mountain. Donations can be left in the marked box outside of the SOJ main office December 6 through December 12. SOS will be taking down the Mountain on December 13.

With so many ways to help out, you’re sure to find a way to give back during this time of year! Whether you’re shopping, donating or just passing the message along to friends, we would like to thank you for your help!
