The School of Journalism joins the community in mourning the loss of radio personality and alumna Loray Robinson. Robinson began her career in broadcasting as a news intern with WAJR—she was hired by WVAQ shortly after graduating from the SOJ in 1981. Robinson, a Morgantown native, was a fixture on the radio in Morgantown and Clarksburg for more than 30 years—most listeners knew her has “Midday Loray.” Her friends and colleagues at West Virginia Radio Corporation say her “smile and laugh were contagious.”
