WVAHC, based in Charleston, W. Va., is a nonprofit organization working to provide quality, affordable health care to all West Virginians. We are governed by an all-star Board of Directors and led by Perry Bryant, WVAHC Executive Director. The intern will work closely with Perry and Renate Pore, WVAHC’s Directors of Health Care Policy. For more information about WVAHC, please check out our website at www.wvahc.org to learn more.

This summer, WVAHC will be developing a booklet outlining the impact that the ACA will have on women in West Virginia. The intern’s responsibilities will include working with Perry Bryant and Renate Pore conducting research, drafting copy and editing the booklet, planning public meetings to discuss the impact of the ACA on women in West Virginia, arranging for media coverage and much more.
