The Purple Fiddle Cafe is a nationally known music venue featuring world-class bands from all over the world. The cafe is located in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains withing a short driving distance to a half-dozen state and national parks in Thomas, W.Va. This is a great opportunity for an outdoor and/or music enthusiast to spend their summer in the cool and scenic WV mountains.

This summer, The Purple Fiddle is in need of an intern to assist with web design and social media marketing. Experience in wordpress is a plus, but not required.

Intern will assistant to Conference Services Manager and Resort Sales Managers at Wisp Resort in Deep Creek, Md.

Expectation of time: Coordination with Group Events and peak resort timeframes will determine work schedule. Flexible schedule required. Hours required fulfilling Internship as required by Education Institution.

Requirements: Intern is responsible for following decoration guidelines provided by Sales Manager, assist with vendor operations, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise on the wedding day or days prior, for the event will run smoothly.

Additionally, the intern will check room set-up, positioning of tables and delivery of special linens and other rental equipment to assure that all is in accordance with wedding décor plan. The position will entail working closely with florist, musician/D.J., Banquet Manager, cake designer and photographer. Organizational skills are required. The intern will be expected to follow a detailed wedding day schedule for the rehearsal, ceremony and reception and all vendors are informed of details necessary.
