News writing internships available for spring or summer

The Chips Quinn Scholarships Program for Diversity in Journalism is offering paid, 10-12 week internships at a variety of host newsrooms across the country for qualifying juniors, seniors, grads and graduate students.

Strong applicants will have had previous newsroom experience.

The opportunity begins in either the spring term or summer with a nine-day, all-expense-paid orientation and multimedia training in Nashville, Tenn. The internship includes travel reimbursement, a $500 housing stipend and intensive training and mentoring by journalism professionals.
