LunaMetrics, a Pittsburgh-based company, is offering a free, four-week course on search engine optimization to area university students, to help them stand out in the job market. The course starts February 9th, in LunaMetrics’ office.
Students will be paired with local non-profit partners such as Global Links and will work with them to learn search engine optimization skills.
Fully 16% of all public relations job listings available on Craigslist.org mention SEO, search engine marketing, or search engine optimization as a required or preferred skill for the opening. That’s nearly 1 in 5 opportunities.
Students have the opportunity to network with LunaMetrics and non-profit organizations that they might want to someday work for, in addition to learning a skill set that is becoming increasingly important.
