Circle of Blue, a nonprofit news organization that reports about on topics relating to fresh water around the globe—for example, agriculture and food security, energy development and environmental policy—needs a variety of interns for summer 2013, including editors, graphic designers, photographers and researchers.
All work is solely published online.

Interns are based in Traverse City, Mich., on the shore of Lake Michigan. Positions are unpaid, but
past interns have stayed with local “host families” to help with room and board costs.
To apply send a resume, 2 writing samples (or photo/graphic projects) and a cover letter to intern@circleofblue.org. The deadline is March 1, but could be flexible.
