The West Virginia University Foundation is offering a paid internship ($8 per hour) available for summer 2013 and the 2013-14 academic year. The intern must be a West Virginia University student who is able to work 15-20 hours this summer and 10-15 hours during the academic year. The Foundation will work around the intern’s class schedule.
The intern will assist with the communications and marketing efforts of the Foundation. This includes, but is not limited to,- writing news releases and articles for media, newsletters and the alumni magazine;
- writing for the Web;
- assisting with internal communications; and
- helping with content development, design and layout of electronic communication, ads and publications.
Strong writing skills are a must. Knowledge of digital photography and design software is a plus.
